Lydia Martine, and a Watcher in his own turn, Alex never accepted that his father died after the transmission from Phyrria. In his mid-twenties he disappeared and for centuries his final fate was unknown and a cult of personality similiar to that of his father grew up around him. However in 3952, an exploration division discovered the remains of his vessel on a barely habitable moon as well as evidence he survived there for many years. The lack of any remains has allowed his cult to modify itself rather than being extinguised. The most esoteric of the legends is similiar to that in many cultures that grew up around mythical personages and a few Watcher-Prophets speak of the time when 'The Father and the Son Return'. The moon is now known as
Ryan's Rock.
