Cairaus Kahar

Captain of the Imperial Navy shortly after the founding of the Empire of Fastheld and the construction of the Aegis, Cairaus Kahar - known to tavern tales as Captain Huntinghawk - is one of the prominent female figures known to history.

She is a much loved figure of lore among sailors and bards alike due to her legacy of keeping the Lightholder River and the Fastheld River free of piracy in the early days of the Empire, and is often held in high regard alongside other legends such as Sirion Starkhorn and Savantis Kahar.

Her flagship - the INV Seaspear - can still be found in the city of Wedgecrest, protected by the Imperial Tribunal as a national treasure. She has recently had the Chapel of Huntinghawk named in her honor in the township of Pell's Gate, much to the delight of the local citizens.
