The Committee on Cybernetic Ethics was founded in 3158 on Sivad, often abbreviated in writing as CoCE. Initially, the committee was a professional organization for those working with cybernetics and cybernetic research. Over time and with the advent of new technologies, CoCE came to govern most personal enhancement fields like genetics and nanotechnology.

CoCE as a group offers support and development for medical personnel.
