Dark Feather Insurrection

An event that took place upon the fourth hour by the Shadow on Idleforge, the 21st day of Greening in the year 626 ATA, in which members of the Emperor's Blades, under the command of Justiciar Soravyn Zahir, orchestrated a vast - yet bloodless - insurrection against Chancellor Oren Nillu's interim Imperial Council.

The result of the Dark Feather Insurrection was a complete regime change for the Empire of Fastheld, a new Emperor - Zolor Zahir - on the Throne, a swift reunification of the Noble Houses, and a quell to the discontent that was developing in the realm.

However, though the intentions were noble in nature, many would argue that while the placing of a new Emperor did indeed quash any discontent that the Nobility had regarding the Government, the after effects of the coup may have ushered in new problems that stem from strained political alliances, and the nature of the Zahir now sitting on the Throne.
