Word is spreading about Duke Oren Nillu's marked distaste with the current state of affairs in the realm. "Imperial resources are being invested in the recently ressurected Light's Reach, while no deep investigation of the area has been carried out," a parchment now going up across Fastheld reads. "It is most unfortunate that while the Empire sees fit to simply accept this most unusual occurence, it is also allowing bandit activity to increase. Not only have several caravans been attacked, but I have been the target of these criminals personally, yet the Imperial Watch deems it more important to protect the miraculously returned Mikin township. I call now in the name of House Nillu for Regent Zolor Zahir to act -- to aid us -- so more innocent lives can be spared and stop this growing threat in the Forest District."
The pamphlet goes on to assure the old Bear will be moving back to the Lode soon: "If people under my care must suffer, I shall risk the same dangers that plague them."
