Alias of the leader of the Luminary, a covert group of Shadow-Touched that meet within Fastheld, Faeyd's true identity and origin are known to no one.

He moved briefly into the spotlight in 624 when he and his group made a deal with Emperor Talus Kahar XIV to figure out the identity of 'She Who Protects'. This Shadow-Crown deal was later lambasted by many conservative groups, including the then-Chancellor, Alieron Mikin, causing the Emperor to reneg on the deal, and leave Fastheld to its fate without the magi's help.

He moved again into the spotlight in 627 when a crystal tower suddenly formed near Aegisport, and a white-cloaked old man claiming to be Faeyd stepped forward to claim responsibility for it, claiming the structure was his 'Mark'.
