The following are winning entries in the two crafting contests held during 2007 Freakfest at Necromundus:

Whitefur's Entry: A mask shaped roughly like a panther's face, mouth open in a snarl, realistic looking blood dripping from its fangs. The fur is a gold with deep brown rosettes, what little of it can be seen. Most of it looks to be flayed off, stripes of fur between raw, oozing, bloody strips of exposed flesh, running vertical from snout to the back of the double-domed head. The ears are set back, the left nearly ripped off and bloody. Where the eyes should be are bloody sockets, though they glow with an odd green light.

[edit] Freakfest Jack-O-Lantern Contest

Amanda's Entry: This Jack-O-Lantern would look rather respectable if this wasn't the land the dead go to in order to rot, that is: it's a military emblem of Great Britain, a cap badge of a certain royal regiment of the Army. The feather running up from the Emblem is white on the bottom, and red on the top, but the red runs down the white as if blood is staining a perfectly good feather. Old blood. Dried, caked, as if it's always been there, and always will. The emblem below it has a number of things, including what seems to be a green flag centered behind a knight killing a dragon, along with a scroll, all covered, covered in dirt, grime, grit, and dust, as to suck away any luster it could have once given. The words under it are French, Honi soit qui mal y pensi, with the word over the little emblem reading, in English, But the same to those who think it Good.
