Boisterous mercenary whose lust for wenches and ale was rivaled only by his greed for gold. Together with his partner Barit Smithy (the duo was affectionately referred to as Grinn and Barit) he served Tomassa Zahir as bodyguard. A falling out occurred between guard and noblewoman and Harwel was forced to flee Hedgehem, never to return.
In the years that followed the mercenary found work with various noble Houses, often acting as a guardsmen until his uncouth tongue landed him in trouble with his superiors. He accompanied the first expedition beyond the Aegis and assisted in locating Emperor Talus Kahar.
Upon returning, Harwel constructed a farm and brewery, Choketwister Meadows, and retired from the life of a Sellsword.
