[edit] Direct Linking
And now, a note for the players concerning direct linking. It's simple. Really. Quite simple.
Please Don't!
Told you it was simple. Now, for those of you who are not familiar with the term, direct linking is when you right-click the images here in the Wiki and hit that snazzy little button that says "Copy Image Location" (or something similar to that, depending on what browser you're in). It's also when you view the image, and then copy the URL out of the address bar and paste it someplace else on the web for people to view the picture. Why not? Because when you do that, you're essentially stealing server space and energy from the place you got the pic. Plus, it's also illegal, except on a few sites that allow it.
So, if you're feeling particularly helpful, and would like to post some of our mini-banners somewhere on the web to direct people to the site, that's great. Fantastic. Awesome. (Hint-hint, nudge-nudge). But instead of direct linking, if for some reason you can't use the HTML code I've provided, each of those mini-banners is available at Photobucket--which is one of those sites I mentioned gives you permission to direct link. How spiffy is that? The web address is in the HTML code, but if you can't find it, shoot me an email (see the next paragraph for the address).
Also, if someone gets motivated and whips up some sort of mini-banner for something OtherVerse/JTS related, you're welcome to put it up on the Photobucket account, as well as here. It's handy that way, and useful to keep all that sort of stuff together so I don't then have to hunt across Photobucket or the web in general for where it all got put. So, to obtain the username and password for our Photobucket account, send an email to Woodland.Minstrel@gmail.com to ask for it. And just so I know that you're not some Evil Photobucket Stealer randomly dropped in off the web, please include which of the JTS games you play, and a list of your characters. I'll email you back, and voila! It's as easy as that. Really.
So. Direct linking? Don't, please.

Chiaroscuro MUSH
Fastheld: it's a land of histories and stories, commoners and nobility, struggle and political intrigue. It's a kingdom behind walls, hiding its face from the outside world. It's a place where the magic of the Shadow is shunned and the blessings of the Light coveted.
Moreover, this has continued for the past six hundred years.
But lately the air tastes of change. Acceptance of the Shadow Touched mages is increasing. The corrupt Church of True Light has fallen, giving way to the smaller, less powerful factions of the Stanchion and the Sun's Keep. Beyond the protection of the Aegis, the freehold of Crown's Refuge has been added to Fastheldian territories, and with it come discovery, danger, and adventure.
And now, at long last, the people of Fastheld are discovering what's been living on their doorstep.
