Those who have their finger on the pulse of Fastheld's more lyrical culture may find themselves subject to a new Bardic Tale that is quickly circulating around the Taverns and Inns of Fastheld.
"The Wolf, the Lioness, and the Raven" is a quirky and often dramatic tale that depicts a somewhat fantastical version of the events leading up to, during, and after the event that scholars have deemed the Dark Feather Insurrection.
Though the tale varies between regions and the Bards that tell it, the tale follows the exploits of a young officer of the Blades caught up in the trouble, and often features a bold battle between a (metaphorical) Bull and a Wolf, the race of a prowling Lioness as she chased a Raven to a Wildcat's Throne, and what that Raven was doing before all this happened.
The tale is, without a doubt, entirely fictional and often features a large amount of creative license in the telling. Yet many an Inn Keeper has been more than appreciative of the extra Kahars this tale has been earning them from taprooms filled with eager listeners, and the Bards that just want a room for the night that tell it to get one.
