Otherspace Ring Network (Classic Journeys Era)

A circuit of large space hoops, developed by the Castori, formed an extensive network among the known worlds. These rings only accommodated jumpsail vessels, which were generally more affordable than OtherSpace Drive-equipped starships. The rings, when activated, created "OtherSpace tunnels" and allowed for instantaneous transport. Less prone to navigational error - and thus less likely to result in catastrophic mislocation. The ring network was destroyed, however, by a feedback wave created by the Moebius Effect in Sol System in 3002.
