FASTHELD - Servants in Fastheld Keep report that Emperor Talus Kahar XIV succumbed to the dark pox after taking ill in the hours before a scheduled meeting of the Imperial Council. The illness had been effectively contained within the Shadow District until Trenton Trast Lark, infected with the pox, managed to slip past Shadow Gate and into the Palace District. From there, it took little time to infect many within Fastheld Keep due to the comings and goings of Emperor's Bladesmen. The pox continues to spread throughout Fastheld, giving healers more work than they can handle, and now there's worry about the succession of power in the realm.
