Born in 2973 as the third child in a family of six, Ahndar Seti's father is a prosperous farmhold owner named Iukkoal, and his mother a writer who serves as the community chronicler and editor. Ahndar Seti was born in lush surroundings, his community being known for their generosity and exportation of savories and prepared foodstuffs harvested from the marshes surrounding their home. He was born with a vividly colorful stripe across his face, earning the young Ydahri his name ‘Ahndar Seti’, The Sun’s Nose.

Suns expressed a reluctance to follow his family’s traditional methods of farming, instead dedicating his time at the kitchens, preparing trade goods and attending the meetings and markets with the neighboring communities. Suns’ charm and willingness to be a flexible negotiator played a good part in discovering his talent for trading.

Suns emigrated to G’ahnlo in 2983, to undertake a “formal” education in a more commerce oriented atmosphere. After studies upon the planet, and after securing a temporary position as assistant supercargo aboard the G’ahnli Merchant Fleet vessel Ngororugu, Suns contracted his services with the New Luna Merchant Marine, as well as working with Osirian Enterprises at the outbreak of the Phyrrian wars.
