[edit] Uniforms
The standard issue Union Fleet uniform consists of dark blue jacket and trousers with gray piping, well-shined black leather boots, and a long-sleeve tunic worn under the jacket to signify the officer's general area of expertise.

- Brown: Engineering
- Orange: Flight Operations
- Gray: Habitation Services
- Gold: Security
A gold rank pin is worn on the left lapel. The jacket's left shoulder displays two patches. One patch identifies the officer's current assignment (starship, base, etc.), while the second, worn above the first, is a standard OAU government logo patch. The right shoulder bears a patch with any official motto or logo for the current assignment.
