My name is James, I'm an avid roleplayer and have been with JTS since March 2004, which could class me as one of the olders if that didn't also suggest I might be the slightest bit maturer than anyone else. I'm almost 20 now, so you could work out that I was 16 when I started, and I started over on the other side with Tidus on Reach of the Empire. I was fresh, having only roleplayed on Yahoo chat rooms before that, but I managed to survive through a month or so before coming over and creating Dement, my first character on Otherspace. He started off like me, a green Waldheimer who was just entering this galaxy with a lot of questions and a lot of information to digest. Obviously, I made him an overcurious Engineer.
I sorta neglected Dement as a character, though I did roleplay with him my enthusiasm was always focused on Reach of the Empire because I am an avid Star Wars nerd. Through the first year of playing I added to my repitoire of characters so that I could get myself around in the universe, my first alt was Leonardo Travis in June, my first attempt at a Military character. Unfortunatley, I found it a struggle to include him into roleplay, so my next concept was Rillitan Ryoleli was in August. Full with boyish wants for a martial artist, gun blazing, bounty hunting uber-cool character I decided to make him into a fighter character, who had aspirations of teaching his self made martial art. It was samey, but different enough, and it got off to a good start. Rillitan remains one of my favorite characters I have ever created. Lastly camne Rukais in March 2005, he is me to a point, or how I felt when I created him. I wanted to use some of the history of Otherspace to create a more interesting character, but I ended up creating a sarcastic teenager who only wanted to thrill ride fast spaceships.
Over the past year (2006) I've grown, and not grown, trying to improve my skills as a roleplayer. I'm still around, hopefully, and I can't say much more and be finite about it. So I wont.
